When will the streams of Living Water Flow? |
Back in 1996, after
an exciting first A.R.M.(Wales) conference at Builth Wells Royal Welsh
Showground I arrived home tired but rejoicing that the Lord had taken us
forward. Only 2-300 of us but more than we had previously
accommodated at Cefn Lea, Dolfor. As I sat in the
Lord's presence I asked "When will the Living Waters
Flow?". Well I didn't get a date but I heard "They
will my daughter, they will."
Since then there have been signs and the Conference, now called "Flames of Fire" has grown and many have come and found comfort and healing, but above all the presence of God and the awareness that the Holy Spirit is at work among us.
But I still pray for the Church to be more open to allow the Holy Spirit to flow in us and for us to know the Power of the Resurrection (Philippians 3:10-11) and for this Power to be seen by the world.
On Easter Sunday Morning 2000, I received the following message, I have not previously shared it but it seems relevant this Christmas (2001) in our troubled world.
Let
it Flow
“Let
it flow through me, let it flow through me,
let the mighty love of God flow out through me,….”
This
is the chorus of the song by an unknown writer, “Peace is flowing like a
river, flowing out through you and me, spreading out into the desert, setting
all the captives free.” Later
verses substitute, joy, love, hope etc.
When
I heard these words I responded with the question, ”Lord
what are you saying in this? For
we would not be a hindrance to you, we will let it flow…….”
and
then I wrote down….
“So
relax, rest in My love and you shall know the depth of My love, you will know
what has been achieved, what is for all people everywhere.
Resting in Me will bring forth certainty and you will be able to go forth
and act according to My plan. Each
has a part to play, this is not just for the leaders and privileged few.
Go forth into the Harvest for He is Risen and the world needs to know:
needs to know from people who are certain of My love, people who are free from
doubt as was St. Thomas when he had seen the Lord.
Blessed
are all those who believe but you
can have faith as a free gift when you wait on Me.
I will fill you with love and compassion beyond your understanding, so do
not hold back - let it flow for it is for all people.
Come
now and rejoice in this gift of faith - receive it now so that it might be used
to effect and with great joy.
Go
forth into the world rejoicing for Christ is amongst His people.
I
have done My part, the power of the
resurrection is within you if you believe in the name of Jesus.
For
at His feet all must fall and worship and He will lift you up.
So lift Me up first and praise My Holy name and receive the gift of
faith.
Come - receive and then let it flow.”
