The Song of Solomon

(The Importance of the Song of Solomon in the End Times)

My passion in life is to teach the Song of Solomon.  The first major point in the book is in verse two, "Let Him kiss me with the kisses of His mouth".   In the underlying love story this is the maiden crying out for intimacy with her beloved bridegroom.   In the overlying allegory/type it is
any individual believer crying out for intimacy with the King, the Heavenly Bridegroom.   I tell people that when they read "Let Him kiss me with the kisses of His mouth" think this:  "Oh God, so touch my heart as to increase my capacity to receive Your love and give you my love in return.    Bring my love relationship with you to a whole new level.

In Psalm Two it says: "Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, And you perish in the way, When His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him."   In July I heard Mike Bickle point out that when God starts pouring out the end-time judgements only those who have "kissed the Son" are going to be able to understand the motivation of love
behind the awful things that are going to occur as prophesied in Revelation.   To "kiss the Son" is explained in the Song of Solomon.  It will still be a personal decision to seek Him whole-heartedly but the consequences of not doing so will be greater.

Those who are not in an intimate love relationship with the Heavenly Bridegroom, the Splendid Transcendent King, the Righteous Judge, will question God for the awful things that are going to be poured out on the earth and mankind.   Some will challenge God.  Some who have only a casual relationship with Him may be tempted to blaspheme and find themselves under the anger of God.

"As we keep praying the “Draw me . .”  prayer of Song 1:4 we will receive a bountiful supply of God's grace to spend much time in the secret place with Him.  There we will learn that even when He acts as the Righteous Judge of Revelation His motivation is love."

God knows that the majority of mankind, if left to themselves will remain to themselves.     But if He shakes everything that can be shaken, many will awaken out of spiritual slumber and call on the Name of the Lord who otherwise would not.

"Let Him kiss me with the kisses of His mouth!" This is a time to seek His face; not just His blessings.
